New foreign direct investment in the Silesia region worth € 10 mln attracted by the Silesian Investor and Exporter Assistance Centre !!!

 

At the beginning of June the Katowice Special Economic Zone completed the tender for selling a 5 ha investment plot in Lubliniec. The tender was won by an Austrian company  Unger Steel Polska which on this area is planning to construct a modern production plant specializing in steel constructions. The investment is estimated for approx. 10 mln euros. Unger Steel Polska is planning to employ 100 employees.

The investor was attracted by the Silesian Investor and Exporter Assistance Centre operating within the structures of Marshal Office of the Silesian Voivodeship. The first meeting with the owner of the company was held during the EXPO REAL investment fairs in Munich (Germany), where the Silesia region was presenting  its investment offer.
